Your customers have changed, have you?

The COVID-19 pandemic (fastest becoming my most hated saying) has changed our lives and will leave a lasting impact for ever.

The way we live, socialise, celebrate, mourn, work and more has had to be adapted.

So, like everything else – the way you do business has to change too. If you are still operating in the same way as pre-pandemic, it’s time you thought about making some tweaks. Your customers are doing things differently and you need to meet them when and where they feel comfortable.

In a nutshell, you need to up your digital game.

Get your website perfecting the conversions – this is now your shop window. Optimise it for search, refine it to make the customer journey seamless and work on the channels that drive traffic (social media, advertising, organic search).

Now, I know this scares the hell out of a lot of businesses and it is purely because they are not sure what to do or how to do it. The unknown sometimes feels like the unachievable so it’s easier to bury your head in the sand than address it head on.

But that’s ok. It’s not your job to be a digital marketing guru. You know where your skills and strengths lie and that is where they should stay. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t invest in the skills of someone else to help drive and grow your business. That someone could be me (I am experienced in all of the above) or it could be someone else. Whoever it is, just find them and get your business moving in the same direction as your customers.
