Facebook and Instagram ad costs are on the rise. It’s no surprise. They work, it’s a good way of getting leads so naturally, as more people advertise, the price is going to go up and 2020 will see them becoming much more expensive.
But that doesn’t mean it needs to cost your business more, it just means that you need to get smarter at how you do it. No more playing around. It’s time to get serious if you want serious results.
Here’s some tips on combating the Facebook and Instagram advertising cost increase:
- Regularly refresh and test your campaign elements – ad copy, image, audience, objectives and offer. This will help keep it fresh and reduce ‘ad fatigue’.
- Use Facebook and Instagram Stories for ad placements (and make them part of your day to day content strategy). These will grow in popularity in 2020 and are key to getting seen on the platforms.
- Advertise on Facebook and Instagram like a pro. If you are just mooching around in Ads Manager and giving it a go yourself – great! But that’s not going to cut it for long. There is a LOT more under the bonnet than you realise. Either invest in training for yourself or invest in a Facebook/Instagram Ads expert who can do it for you. I guarantee it will save you a lot of money in the long run.
